New Factory for Tralee

New Factory For Tralee

Offsite building manufacturer Moduleire has announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant in Tralee, Co. Kerry.

The new plant will focus on producing student housing, staff accommodation, and elderly care home units for the Irish and UK markets. Moduleire makes steel frame volumetric modular units, which are assembled to produce single or multi-storey buildings.

These buildings can be erected in a fraction of the time of traditional buildings, and the factory process means higher quality builds, with extremely tight tolerances, and minimal disruption from weather, site conditions, snagging, etc.

The plant will employ around 15 people during the fitout and ramping-up phase, expected to take around 3 months, with a staff of over 100 people in full production.

It will be based in part of the old Borg Warner factory in Monavalley.
